OAI Collaboration (45 minutes)

Irfan Ghuari (OAI/EURCOM)

OAI/EURCOM thoughts for the CI/CD/CT platform for the Super Wireless Blueprint.

Purpose is to define a roadmap for

  • deploying an end-to-end platform in several labs (as discussed) with software components for O-RAN OSC, OAI and other communities over the course of 2023,
  • defining a CI/CD/CT strategy,
  • identifying operational details and initiate a discussion on resources,
  • and describing a plan in concrete terms the next steps over the quarters to come, to contribute to bringing the blueprint to life.

We have seen in the 20th Jan O-RAN TSC PowerPoint (page 7) that there is a desire to clearly define the use cases, features, functions, requirements, and interfaces from specs. to be supported as part of a release plan. I believe this discussion and our inputs could be a good starting point for what is possible and what is not in this process.
