PNF Plug'n'Play Message Flow

Show interworking of NetConf and VES on PNFs

The use case was already demonstrated in ONAP Dublin with simulators. The focus is on PNF's this time.

  • O1:REST/VES/pnfRegistration

  • RAN Devices are visible in ODLUX Connect app as connected, after activation

  • Devicemanager, Webserver and O-RAN PNF Simulator

  • Lead developer = Nokia

PM Bulk request

Show interworking of VES and file transfer

  • O-RAN PNF Simulator

  • Lead developer = Ericsson

Basic Fault Message Flow

Show interworking between VES and NetConf.

The interesting part is, if the information of VES fault can be correlated with the objects defined by YANG.

  • O1:REST/VES/fault

  • Fault notifications are visible in ODLUX Fault app as notifications

  • Devicemanager, Webserver and O-RAN PNF Simulator

Basic Configuration Message Flow

Show synchronization of configuration changes via VES events

Open: CM VES format.

  • O1:REST/VES/configuration, simulated via Fault message

  • ODLUX Config App ist doing the configuration change as starting point

  • Devicemanager, Webserver and O-RAN PNF Simulator

  • Lead developer = CommScope

WG4 Open FH MPlane

Show the usage of the MPlane specification by WG5 OpenFH.

The use case was partly demonstrated in ONAP (pre)ElAlto with simulators. The focus is on PNF's this time.

  • Lead developer = Samsung

OOF-based 5G optimization

Show enhancements of the use case implementations and a complete closed-loop implementation with RAN.

This use case is an illustration of A1 functionality
