• Topology Exposure & Inventory: (@John Keeney (Ericsson EST) :

  • Added new models, now alot siimpler. (e.g. remove 4G & integrated gNB)

    • lots of test updates, docs etc.

  • Will demo TEIV at F2F

    • Will have a sample rApp

    • Need some sample data for use case. Working on this.

  • More work needed on more loose-coupling of models from platform.

    • e.g. esp on tests, documentation, etc.

    • Added support to have docs & model desc. auto-updated when model changes

    • Need to figure out how to tag or support model versioning much easier - with code re-compile for different models. (mostly already there. Some still work to do)

    • Need to start working with others in OSC & beyond to help populate TEIV registry with data from their 'sources of truth'

    • Hope to make alot of use of TEIV in demos/rapps in K-Release

  • Would it be possible to iterate over topology to get total size of RAN deployment - and multiply up the power usage (power profile) of each to get a total usage?

  • What topology model would be useful for this?

  • Suggest use TEIV to query / iterate over topology:

    • TEIV - Release J

    • Might be handy to map from TEIV entity extra metadata (tags, labels, decorators, etc) to markup topology and link back to source of truth about entities.

  • Working on a mapping from Network Generator to TEIV - might take a while though.
