    • Some discussion on CVE reports for OSC code

      • LF team will come back with info on some scanning that can be enabled.

      • ... but that doesn't fix the issue

        • Should there be CVEs for OSC code at all?

          • Suggesting that there should be some way to flag which functions are intended for actual deplyments / commercially, which would then be eligible for CVE reports?

        • Some of the previously raised CVEs could not be found with automated scanning.

      • If CVEs reports are created, then who has responsibility to fix them - is there a requirement or expectation to fix them?

    • No other major update

  • Not much to report from OSFG this week.

NONRTRIC (@John Keeney (Ericsson EST))

• OSC NONRTRIC: Release J

• Preparing for OSC meeting/workshop at  ONE summit, and at LFN DTF at the end of Apr.

• Continuing tasks as mentioned previous weeks. 

  • Continue work our new Service Manager function

    • Still working on deployment, tests & integration

    • JIRA: NONRTRIC-944: NONRTRIC - Service Exposure Manager - Release J (& early K)DonePreview

    • Service manager is now ready to demo again. Hopefully next week.

    • Starting to improve Documentation & Deployment.

    • Lots still to do!

  • Continue work on rApp Manager - as a focal point for tying together alot of other existing activities

    • Working on some sample rApps. e.g. See Release J: Simple rApp using Hello World Microservice

    • Aim to have an updated version in coming weeks

    • Switching over to new Service Manager is ongoing

    • Working on SME & DME integration & improvements

  • Continue maturing the A1-Policy Controller function (ref ONAP) - including a potential new NBI (v3) to achieve R1 alignment

    • Current API will be maintained but deprecated for several releases to come.

    • Making slow but steady progress.

    • New API development ongoing. May be some questions for R1-A1-P spec in March train ... TBC

  • Trying to consolidate deployment charts and scripts - currently have multiple versions, with some inconsistencies/differences. Will be ongoing for some time.

  • Still need to get working on a proper A1-Policy Integration test with OSC near-RT-RIC (A1 Mediator)

  • Will need to de-prioritise many of the older less-used NONRTRIC functions - we welcome others in the community to help take these on if interested.

    • Need to study how/if we can achieve R1-DME alignment. Specs continue to diverge from our implementation - with alot of effort need to align.  We welcome contributors to help here.

SIM (@Alex Stancu)

• Continuing work to refresh simulator's base platform for O1

• Latest spec for OFHM requires TLS certificates - working on this.

  • would still like to support ssh - for simulator deployments

• Added support for Netconf notification when certicicate is going to expire (good for OFHM)

  • But not sure if there is an equivalent VES message or similar for O1.

• Preparing for OSC meeting/workshop at  ONE summit at the end of Apr.

OAM (@Martin Skorupski)

• Working with Taiwan lab for deploying OAM functions

  • e.g. ODL/SDNC GUI auth is more difficult with OAuth ... considering still supporting simple Auth

  • e.g. When specific yang models are exposed it is possible to stop the entire channel ... working on this.

OSC Integration / INT (@James Li)

• Working with RICAPP project to come up with a demo/presentation at OSC meeting/workshop at  ONE summit at the end of Apr.

• Documentation of OSC/Powder collaboration ongoing - almost complete?
