OSC SMO Meeting Series: Reminder from previous weeks:
OSC SMO calls now move to its own time slot - Thursdays

We will maintain this slot for ONAP Alignment, and try flag issues/question to/from SMO meetings.

While this is based on older work on ONAP Control Loops/Clamp - it is basically a full re-architect & build.
Still at a very early stage, not yet ready to present / demo ... Hope to demo/present at upcoming RSAC meetings a few weeks.
Current prototyping going very well - using the OSC D "Link Monitor" Apps as requirements drivers & "pipe cleaner".

Granularity is 2 fields in 3GPP version. Mapping to one field is as per agreed approach, but update would likely be useful.
(HV-VES handles this differently)

Suggestion to change VES 7.1 Schema
Needs to be also discussed with VES team
3GPP spec should be considered at this stage - bring up to date with v16/v17
VES 7.2 spec also needs to be considered for inclusion / update
Other functions use VES 7.1 ... Need a decision to upgrade other components for VES 7.2
... New requirement / feature to be considered in ONAP.
New version of VES spec may be needed if VES 7.2 is updated. Backwards compatibility? OSC projects do not require backward compatibility.

HV-VES / PM Streaming
vs 3GPP streaming
ORAN 01 uses ASN.1 over websockets - aligns with 3GPP v16/v17 (ASN1 or GPB over websocket)
HV-VES is not part of O1 spec.
GRPC / GPB, and not websockets
Need to support HV VES in future is unclear & not compliant with current specs
(PMMapper and HV-VES are not related)
