NONRTRIC (@John Keeney (Ericsson EST))

  • Working on O-DU-Slicing–Use-case "Link Monitor" rApp

    • Many different possible versions of App implementation depending on which SMO functions to use

      • e.g. 2 different VES formats, 2 different netconf/restconf models, micro-service-based, policy-based, dmaap vs kafka vs Info-job, etc etc

    • Thanks to @Alex Stancu & @Martin Skorupski for help towards O-DU SIM and SDNC (& models) for rApp.

    • Still a bit unsure where to get some IDs etc. Likely hard-coded for E Release

    • Propose to have several versions - with very simple (partly hardcoded) logic - mainly as requirements drivers for NONRTRIC platform functions

  • E Release prep.

    • Documentation, branching, version upticks, re-testing, deployment guides, release notes, etc.

SIM (@Alex Stancu)

  • O-DU Simulator for Slicing use case is ready

  • Continue working with @John Keeney (Ericsson EST) @Yennifer Chacon etc re Slicing rApp

OAM (@Martin Skorupski)

  • Working towards end-to-end demo for O-DU Slicing use-case.

  • Small bug/issue with ODL - issue with namespaces in netconf vs restconf - workaround available.

  • Will work with each PTL for E Release

  • Primary Integration lab for E Release will be the Bedmister lab ... with Taiwan lab still being set up

  • @John Keeney (Ericsson EST) Which functions will be present in the Integration alb set-up? Pre-configured for some scenario / use case?

    • What if multiple scenarios - in the same lab? .

    • Probably need to separate integration environment into a "vanilla" deployment - with some way of deploying/loading a use case scenario deployment - then unloading & loading others?

      • e.g. using ONAP Python test library, or OTF?
