    • OSFG meetings will now happen every week (Monday)

  • This week's TOC (in 2 days):

    • Expect more update about F2F meetings

    • Project updates back running again:

      • @James Li Updates about labs & integration

        • Bedminster Lab still has issues. May be able to use Powder (?) lab for a bit

        • Integration:

          • Trying to get some existing pairwise tests running

          • Some issues with current it/dep charts (e.g. older versions & ONAP AAF not working) - ToDo!

          • PM flow is in progress - could possible add in NONRTRIC PM flow here

          • A1: NONRTRIC & nearRTRIC Pairwise test - in progress

NONRTRIC (@John Keeney (Ericsson EST))

• Mostly same as last week:

  • Service Exposure Manager - Started - New function pulling together previous work

  • O-RAN Spec API compliance for R1-SME, R1-DME (TBC), R1-A1, A1

  • Making good progress on rApp manager.
    
    

    • Adding support for DME integration now. Will demo again soon.

  • OpenAPI-first in A1-PMS & ICS

    • Change from code→openapi→docs to openapi → code-stubs & docs

    • To better align with R1 specs as they mature

    • To improve expressiveness of docs etc.

    • Working now - tested functional equivalence achieved.

    • Completed for A1-PMS.

      • Struggling to get it merged in  ONAP

    • Will demo soon

  • Some changes in A1-Mediator in near-RT-RIC plt in H-Release.

    • Investigations & testing ongoing

    • Looks like OSC_v2.1.0. A1-AP (P) profile will b deprecated

      • Will phase out support A1-SIM and A1-PMS in coming releases, when A1-Mediator moves to spec version of A1-AP

    • Working on Pairwise test - will be ready as A1-Mediator implementation continues (few weeks)

      • Received info on how to start A1-Mediator in standalone mode - easier to test.

SIM (@Alex Stancu)

• No update this week

OAM (@Martin Skorupski)

• O-RAN "planning" tool to visualise RAN & topology & inventory

  • Starting point for setting up simulated network based on network view.

    • Hex-shaped b/s coverage with 3 cells each. In KML file for map visualisation etc. Few other formats can be supported too.

    • Topology will come with full configuration for simulator NFs & links & OAM connections etc.

  • Will be helpful for kicking of n/w for PM Streaming

  • Good overlap for SMO project for deployment etc.

• O1 Demo for OAI functions at O-RAN F2F - will also be demoed at OAI/OSFG/OSC meeting in Boston (below)

  • Update to 3GPP yang model

  • Raise/Clear Alarm

  • File-based PM

  • Alarm/PM dictionary

  • Joined the AIML call and am working with Joseph on a flow for AIML

  • There is an intense level of discussion of CRs in the Decoupled SMO Architecture TR work in WG1. There is a special call tomorrow and extra time next week to get all the changes into the November version.
