  • Discussing plans for upcoming OSFG opensource meeting May 23rd (After OAI summer workshop) in Kista Sweden

    • Will discuss PM format & delivery at tomorrows RSAC ... File-based or Streamed?

      • Some old work on streamed: PM Streaming

      • File-based solution could use existing NONRTRIC RAN-PM solution

      • Could possibly use NONRTRIC DMaapAdapter to present events as DME job - but would probably needs some work. And a collector would be needed too (if not using VES collector)

      • Could possibly translate existing data format to file-based? Seems to be interval-based periodic data, so should be possible?

  • Combined lots of existing charts - now working together (ONAP, NONRTRIC, RANPM, TEIV) 

    • Alot of work needed to have all previous deployments using same underlying common functions - esp Kafka.

    • Need to document this better - wiki page, Jira etc.

  • Will try add Nephio later

  • Also need to consider how to include existing SMO project functions e.g. Tacker

  • Will Services be available outside (@Sridhar Rao, @Aravindhan Ayyanathan)? 

    • Inside cluster all services can now use FQDN - not node-ports.

    • Services should also be register in Service Exposure Manager to be used via API gateway & discoverable

    • Eventually services may be discoverable / exposed outside cluster - e.g. ref CAMARA etc.

  • Lots of small updates in K-Release & ongoing. Focus on ingestion adapters in this release.

  • @John Keeney (Ericsson EST) No current plan. Was planning to deprecate & remove.

  • Sridhar: Might be able to find some help for that

  • Note: Current rApp package is not spec compliant  - it is an internal format only (post onboarding) We eagerly await a standardised rApp format from O-RAN.
