OAM (Martin Skorupski)
- No major update this week:
- Still working on deployment - currently still docker-compose
- Re Winlab / OSC Test lab: See https://lf-onap.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DW/pages/16405829
- subhash: Question - any sign of using Nephio for OAM/O1?
- No real agreement, or path to agreement for operator-based RAN OAM in O-RAN Alliance.
- Maybe stick with o1 interface for now? And continue with proposals for Nephio for DMS/IMS for now?
JIRA:
NONRTRIC (John Keeney (Ericsson EST))
- Demoed integrated SMO, OAI deployment, & sample rApp at OAI & OSFG workshops last week.
- Working on tidying up Integrated SMO & rApp - will demo again at F2F next week. Lots of work to do!
JIRA
SIM (Alex Stancu)
- Working away on integration & Hybrid O-RU (working on demos with OAI & Benetel RU)
AI/ML platform project (subhash)
- Working on dynamic pipeline / platform
- Integration & ES usecase
- Fixed issue with Modelstore reporting 200 when model storage fails (see last week).
- John Keeney (Ericsson EST) & Saul Gill to retest
- R1-AP spec is making progress on model deployment.
- In next release would like to work with John Keeney (Ericsson EST) for rApps
- Who is the interface consumer? rApp, or rApp Manager? Need to work on the usecase.
- Would the rApp (instance) be able to store it's own packaged model, or alternatively/also ask training service to make model available for modelstore deployment.
- Currently (needs work) -rApp has a packaged static model, and an inference service is created with (& has same lifecycle) as the rApp instance. Managed by rAppManager. Need to consider more flexible/useful use cases.
- Also, in O-RAN use cases, the rApp could be a consumer of training service?
