NONRTRIC (@John Keeney (Ericsson EST))

• Still working away on issue from previous weeks:

  •  A1-Controller

    • NBI Issues: Last Week WG2 R1 spec for Nov release changes from March version (not backwards-compatible)Still trying to stabilise API for R1.

      • May cause disruption to users that have already adopted the New-Delhi or J-Release versions

    • Fixed a bug in A1-PMS in ONAP & OSC - Where 'transient' Policies were being deleted when a service is deleted.

      • Fix available & preparing tests & patch releases for ONAP (London, Montreal, New-Delhi) & OSC (J at least & hopefully older)

    • Fixing an issue with Service-ID (request param)  vs ClientID (in auth header) when creating an A1 Policy.

    • Updating to SpringBoot 3.3

    • Database-based persistent storage now enabled.

  • Service Manager

    • Hoping to discuss/demo (below) boot-strap service exposures at SMO start-up - but its proving a bit more difficult than expected.

    • Manual registration via API is still working fine - but currently all Services need to be explicitly registered rather than auto-registered.

  • Release K Planning:

    • No major update this week ... but will continue with more focus on demonstrators - esp aiming towards next F2F

  • Some delays getting started on sample rApps ... starting now

    • First ones will include AIML use cases. See below.

SIM (@Alex Stancu)

• Making good progress for Hybrid & Hierarchical OAM & demo at F2f - including interesting issues like VES message translation.

  • Hybrid and Hierarchical OAM Architecture

  • Uses the new Python platform for O1 & OFH simulators

  • Connectivity between (simulated) O-DU & O-RU is all working fine

    • e,g, callhome netconf→ves 

      • (need to be careful to config certificates correctly between O_DU & O-RU)

OAM (@Martin Skorupski)

• Working on wiki updates to update model links etc.

  • Discussion page: O-RAN YANG published in 2024-06 (awaiting WG5 WG10 clarifications)

    • Spotted some issues - See color-coding

    • Working on CRs for WG5 & WG10

• Working with @Alex Stancu on Hybrid and Hierarchical OAM Architecture (Above)

  • Will discuss at TOC call this week

• Also considering reports of issues & age of some it/dep deployment - esp OAM parts

AI/ML platform project (@subhash )

    • Working to expose AIMLFW services - nearly working.

    • Working to add support for grouping/collection in registry & api

    • Working to add tagging/classifiers/decorators to help markup & expressive retrieval of data from TEIV

    • Need to start working with others in OSC & beyond to help populate TEIV registry with data from their 'sources of truth'

    • Hope to make alot of use of TEIV in demos/rapps in K-Release

  • In ranpm use case, events do not seem to be delivered to 'InfluxLogger'

    • @John Keeney (Ericsson EST) Perhaps an issue with how the data job is configured

      • Influx logger creates a datajob via ICS. ICS sends job request to PMProducer, which then starts producing data. But the Job seems to be disabled. ... ?

      • Need more info on configurations used and logs - esp ICS log, Influxlogger log, and pmproducer log.

      • ... but if the rApp is getting data from PMProducer, the influxLogger job should be VERY similar to the rApp job.

        • Suggest to check the job configuration file for pmlogger (influx logger), then the 'job' should be wisible on the ICS GUI.

    • @Sridhar Rao Changes are working locally, and would like to upstream.

    • @John Keeney (Ericsson EST) would like to support multiple file-ready formats - Maybe a flag in the configuration?

    • @Sridhar Rao can add some description / documentation how std-defined events are generated and consumed.

• Error when trying a CM configuration via ODLUX GUI

  • Check out the REST operations when GUI read/write operations are performed.

    • Look out for config conflicts where operation cannot proceed.
