Control Plane Topology View

The RAN control plane Topology is important for Operations and Maintenance to understand the impact on the RAN  to plan complex operations such as software upgrades and adding new network functions. 

Nodes of such topology are:

• 5G-Core as root node

  • open - is a detailed view of the core-components needed based on 3GPP specs?

• O-CU-CP (O1 provider)

• O-DU (O1 provider)

Edges for such topology are the logical connections between the nodes. 

Possible representations are:

• graph

• tree

• table

The representations should have the capability of sorting and filtering.
