O1 Small Cell Adapter

The O1-Small-Cell-adapter converts BBF/3GPP TR069 (TR096, TR181) to the O-RAN O1 interface specification, technically speaking from HTTP/SOAP to NetConf/YANG and VES (or YES).

Take note of the 3GPP alignment as well as the ubiquity of TR-069, i.e., the overwhelming majority of  indoor/outdoor Small Cell solutions are CWMP (CPE WAN Management Protocol) devices that comply with TR-069 and, therefore, may integrate with the O-RAN/ONAP-based SMO via the O1 Small Cell adapter.
