Discussion
NONRTRIC
Committer (nonrtric): Approved @Henrik Andersson as an additional committer for nonrtric repo.
Amber Release:
Components:
SNDC-based A1 adapter: custom CCSDK OSGI bunbles for A1 mediation southbound, and restconf-based interface northbound
Dashboard component: Policy Type and Policy Instance management towards A1
Simple near-RT-RIC A1 simulator/test stub
All release requirements are met, so release should proceed as planned
All components require further work for planned Amber maintenance release
Amber+ & Bronze Release priorities
A1 policy management service
A1 adapters for ONAP Frankfurt (SDNC-based, CDS-based, DMAAP adapter, spec compliance)
Discussions are ongoing to suggest implementability improvements for A1 interface spec.
Need to address alignment concerns between dashboards. Need to kick off discussions in OAM project (near-RT-RIC dashboard, NONRTRIC dashboard, OAM dashboards?)
Continued concerns about way-of-working/alignment between NONRTRIC/SMO/ONAP - in particular scoping needs further work.
Particular concerns surround SMO functionality north of O1&A1 mediation but south of RAPPs - e.g. O1/CN correlation, CMDB&Inventory, etc..
Progress is being made in WG1, also in WG2 and WG6. This work is being closely monitored, and input provided where appropriate.
Need to present concerns and suggestions to RSAC & TOC. Likely January before much progress will be made.
Need to kick off discussions with @Sandeep Shah about A1-adapters DMAPP interface, and coordination with ONAP A1 adapter development/integrations.
@Tracy Van Brakle mentioned an A1-like usecase for Plugfest ('a simplified OOF-based 5G SON use case as defined in ONAP'). Discussion around alignment will continue in coming weeks.
