NONRTRIC (John Keeney (Ericsson EST))

  • Still working away on issue from previous weeks:
    •  A1-Controller
      • Still working on service releases
    • Working on improving on sample rApps
      • First ones will include AIML use cases. See below.
    • Working with AIML team to get platform integrated for QOE E2E demo. See below.
  • Updated some verify job to use GitHub Actions to run function test during verify (OSC and ONAP)
  • Working on sample rApps for F2F
    • Usecase: PMdata → A1Policy operation
  • Working on it/dep charts & scripts to help with demo env.
  • Action: Need to update page about demos/agenda ASAP → Release "K"

  • Followup:
    • 1: RANPM - image 'kafka-producer-pm-xml2json' image consumes massive resources if left running - even with no load
      • Fixed: NONRTRIC-1036 - Getting issue details... STATUS Please check for maintenance release of affected functions.
    • 4: RANPM Datafile Collector. Some tests are failing. Sridhar Rao will update with a change upstream
      • No update
    • 5: RANPM PM Logger/Influx Logger  After some time sometime fails to get a token - then fails after that.
      • Hard to reproduce. Sridhar Rao will keep trying
      • No update

  • N.K. Shankaranarayanan Working on a Power-related / Energy-saving project
    • Would it be possible to iterate over topology to get total size of RAN deployment - and multiply up the power usage (power profile) of each to get a total usage?
    • What topology model would be useful for this?
    • Suggest use TEIV to query / iterate over topology:
      • TEIV - Release J
      • Might be handy to map from TEIV entity extra metadata (tags, labels, decorators, etc) to markup topology and link back to source of truth about entities.
    • Working on a mapping from Network Generator to TEIV - might take a while though.
